All cosmetic products placed on the UK and EU markets must have a cosmetic safety assessment.
An assessment is the first step in being able to sell a cosmetic product. There are several legalities involved when making a cosmetic product, these include correct labelling, uploading your product information to the UK cosmetics portal, having insurance, and generating PIF files.
