French Red Clay – Cosmetic Grade

A rich, mineral-packed clay with a natural brick-red colour. French Red Clay is especially high in iron oxide, making it ideal for revitalising dull or tired skin. It helps stimulate, cleanse, and exfoliate while adding natural colour and a spa-like feel to your handmade creations.

INCI: Illite, Kaolin, Montmorillonite

Appearance: Fine red to terracotta powder with a smooth texture

Uses in Formulation:
• Revitalising face and body masks
• Exfoliating cleansers and scrubs
• Mineral-rich bath bombs and bath soaks
• Cold-process and melt-and-pour soaps

Typical Usage Rates:
• Masks & powders: 20–70%
• Cleansers & scrubs: 5–20%
• Bath products: 5–15%
• Soap: 1–5% of oils
