SLES – Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate (Cosmetic Grade)

A versatile liquid surfactant widely used in shampoos, shower gels, bubble baths, and cleansers. SLES (Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate) is known for producing rich, stable foam and excellent cleansing power while being milder than traditional SLS. It blends easily with other surfactants and additives, making it a staple for liquid wash formulations.

Uses in Formulation:
• Shampoos and 2-in-1 cleansers
• Shower gels and body washes
• Bubble baths and foaming cleansers
• Facial washes and hand washes
• Household-style cleaning products (non-cosmetic use – not for resale as cosmetic)

Typical Usage Rates:
• Shampoos & washes: 10–20%
• Shower gels & body washes: 5–15%
• Bubble baths: 5–15%
• Facial cleansers: 3–10%
